Cameras are high quality and cheap now. Photograph all of your documents (next to dated newspaper, preferably) and addressed envelopes. ANY written or picture evidence... photograph it in high res', dated on the photos too. Take a picture of you putting the envelope in the post box, or being delivered to whatever agency processes them ! Keep plenty of copies. At least you'll have some sort of evidence to put in front of these incompetent fools, and their excuses and lies.
thanks charmykim. hope you’re not feeling too homesick now that you are here in the UK. cold weather not helping is it? lucky that yours was overturned, i wasnt eligible for administrative review only an appeal. However i still wrote to HO, hoping that an entry clearance Manager can review their mistake and overturn but unfortunately they didnt even look at my letter - they told me refer to our refusal letter follow instruction and go through the appeal process. appeal might take long so we are really considering re-applying.
What you could have done instead of appeal was to make a complaint. If you're sure you have submitted all documents necessary and you meet the requirements for the visa, then it is better to complain first and understand why or how the caseworker denied the application. Appeal takes longer; when complaining, UKVI is obliged to reply within 20 days.
yeah thats more or less what I did but they rejected my letter/complaint saying the error was made on their part. They instead told me to refer to my letter
Refused 2x 2017.First tourist visa april 2017(reason:I stayed almost 6months whwn my last visited in uk 2016.and i declared 585£ income on my Business but did not match of my bankstatement.so they refused me! For FV:REASON FOR REFUSAL IS FR.which is the HO did a mistake.its because my solicitor srnd them a wrong format pdf files for online bank statement.and My F bank statement didn't have stamped by the bank.
Where did you complain, which department? I know someone who has been rejected a visa last month because UKVI claimed the applicant's sponsor had missing bank statements and pay slips. Decision was overturned, she is now in Scotland now. Good luck. Hope you get it right next time.
