Sorry for the late reply. I'm still in UK trying to adjust in this cold weather.

I didn't submit any LEAVE OF ABSENCE letter or any letter that my company approved my leaves. I just submitted the STANDARD COE with start date, salary and current status and role.

Also when I was in the immigration here in UK the officer just asked where I'll be staying, name of my bf and what his work and WHERE is his company in UK hahaha thank goodness I know his company address. Fudge.

Congrats to everyone who got there visa.

Btw just got engaged lol. So I'm going to apply now for a settlement visa.

Hi. I got a question. Did you just submit photocopies of the utility bills and mortgage form? Or did you also submit the original documents?

I'm wondering if photocopies will suffice.

Any reply would be a big help. Thanks.

I submitted photocopies of my utility bills , but they were in colour and looked like originals .

I'm almost certain my gf said they told her at vfs, that document copies are acceptable for visit visas . Someone else may advise if that is incorrect . I'll check with her tomorrow and get back to you to clarify .

Scanned copies are fine. Even when I applied for fiance visa, they were all scanned copies except my passport and my cert of employment

Thank you. I'm just applying for Standard Visitor Visa. I was just wondering, especially for the real property form, if I can just submit the copy of it. :)

    Thanks for the reply..

Sorry guys. Last question. This is all nerve-wracking. My appointment is just right in the corner. Finalizing everything now..

So going back to my question, my boss provided me a letter saying that they don't have any objection about my paid leaves for IF I go to UK. My problem now is, i cannot file it yet cause we can only file at HR like a week before the said leaves.. and i plan to go to UK in 3 months. Although, my boss provided her contact number.. I'm just worried the ECO will ask the HR department about it instead and it might cause some problems. Any thoughts if I should still include my boss' letter for approved leaves? Thanks a bunch.
