    Hi Everybody!
I'm Tony's wife and I am in London for more than one month :freezing:, we are finally enjoying our  togetherness.
Once again, I'm here to ask :help: about my VISA because it is going to expire on May 2012 .
I just wanna know what to do or what are the requirements needed for renewal. My visa type is EEA FP Family Member. Thank you and a Happy New Year! :cheer:

There is nothing to worry about.

The next stage is the "Residence Card", and basically has the same requirements and documents as the Family permit you have already obtained.

This time, tho, your presence is not required at all, all you need to do, is download the appropriate Application form, in this case

    http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/applicationforms/eea/eea21.pdf

Print the form, read the guidance notes carefully, fill it and send to Croydon together with the various documents (preferably originals), yours and Tony's passports in a recorded delivery envelope.

    No fees are payable.
The waiting times vary a lot, but they usually say that it could take up to six months... So while you wait, don't make any traveling plans abroad.

The initial answering letter you will receive from Croydon, on receipt of your paperwork, will confirm your status in the UK, also stating that you are free to take up employment without restrictions.

You can apply anytime, as a non EEA partner you are not restricted like as if you were married to a British national...

    All the best.
