    Presumably it could be adapted / modified etc. Then there may be exemption potential as a vintage type vehicle. Not sure. Just wondering.

    I feel sure one would turn a few heads on the M1 :D

    Virtually any vehicle can be made to pass an MOT.

    There is at least one imported Jeepney in private hands in the UK.

    I should have stated, if it were imported in its present form but yes with modification it would get through. A vintage would be exempt from Tax - https://www.gov.uk/historic-vehicles/vehicles-exempt-from-vehicle-tax.

    Would be definite head-turner though :)

    I spoke with the UK Jeepney owner at the Milton Keynes fiesta..Say`s he shipped it to Thailand and drove it to the UK all the way from there.
    Interesting guy.

    Cars over 40 years old......though do not know if that would extend to Jeepneys.

    “In addition to this, from May any car that is 40 years old or older then it will no longer need an MOT certificate.”
