Hi menchu, do you know how melody .can come to UK as caregiver on work visa,
Do you have any experience of this? I believe she needs a job offer to even apply for work visa?

Its going to be difficult getting a working visa working as a caregiver. Home office has a list of skilled work which the employer will not have to provide evidence/documents to get visa.

To give you an example, before i moved in the uk, i asked my previous employer if its possible to give me a transfer to our london office. The long reply was that it was going to be expensive to prove that there are not enough british or eu forensic accountant in london that our company will be hiring someone from outside- even though its a lateral transfer within the same company.

So I will not be betting on this route. Most employer will not provide working visa unless its on the home offices’ list of ‘relaxed requirement’.
