"Narcos"

Have just started watching the first season of "Narcos", an American crime thriller drama which follows the story of notorious drug kingpin Pablo Escobar. It was first shown by Netflix in 2015.
Very, very enjoyable, especially as I was working in Colombia in 1979, which is in the same time frame.

Brilliant ive watched it twice it certainly shows the failed "war on drugs" you might like "Queen of South also on netflix 2 seasons

If you enjoyed Narcos then I would say Gomorra is a must to view - we just loved it - Suburra is also worth a try IMO

I really liked "altered carbon" on Netflix and "American Gods" on Amazon Gomorra was excellent

It certainly has been a massive failure, Keith.
Cocaine is still flowing into the USA and Europe (amongst others).

UK is the biggest consumer of Coke in Europe still we will soon have control of our borders and will sort that

Loved the Narcos series. Another good one I enjoyed was The Wire set in Broklyn. Idris Elba really good.

I read that Narcos season 4 will start filming soon.

I could only watch a couple of Altered Carbon. The storylines just seemed so silly at times.

Dear me, Gomorra is so violent but gripping nonetheless.
I wonder what Dom would think of this.
It is easy to understand though - the drug pushers are the underbelly of society.
The acting is superb and the cinematography is very realistic.
