Everton did well against Wolves. Nice to see attacking football.

I enjoyed the Leeds Derby game in the Championship. The Manchester United game on the other hand was dire!

Speaking as a Derby fan, I didn't enjoy it one bit.

Liverpool seem to have started off how they finished off last season, although West Ham have a lot of work to do, against lower teams they may be okay but are so poor at the back. arsenal were very poor but not so much change to how they were last season under Wenger.
That was the only games I saw so can’t comment on other games.

West Ham were my outsider choice, time yet. I watched the City Arsenal game and City were there to be had defence wise, attacking they were clinical though. Not sure why they were timewasting at 55 minutes though. Ref had to warn them.

Kevin De Bruyne could be out up to 3 months with a knee injury.

Big loss for city , De Bruyne was a massive player for them last year.

I think their goalkeeper will let them down this year.

Seems like the Premier League matches are competitive and exciting in the first couple of weeks.
I don't know if it is because of the wonderful World Cup or the milder weather or a combination of the two.

The Leicester v Wolves match had some bad fouls.

Mourinho needs to go now. Clueless no style, poor with youngsters, disrespectful to other teams, old fashioned tactics.

Always amazes me how some managers continue to keep being offered jobs despite failure after failure . Steve Mc Laren , Paul Clement , Zola ...

After watching United vs Brighton at the weekend I think Maureen will be gone before Christmas. He has lost the dressing room and the board and the fans, those that he had. I was never a fan and I feared he would bring discord. I actually think we have a good squad but a poor manager. I would rather see Giggs having the team play United's way.

City's second choice keeper Bravo is out for a long time. (Achilles tendon) They sold Hart and another keeper.
