Yes that's true, but in the main that was my experience. And I don't send money to anyone either , though I have already been asked that a couple of times
Just told Miss R that I'm honoured to be in a relationship with her. She called me crazy and has gone to the toile..err..CR.
Get yourself over there mate, meet a few, learn something about their culture and their country... and most of all , enjoy yourself. After that, take it from there, with a bit more confidence and knowledge.
Hi celtic341, Not long after I met my future wife, I asked her about the age difference (30 years) and she told me she didn't want to meet a young man as they were "chicks boys" (boys or men who easily cheat and who have wandering eyes or other parts of their anatomies). She wanted a serious man who would look after her and any children that may come. We have two little ones in the UK with us and life is good! Ageism does not exist in the Philippines the way it does in "The West".
Even people with a good heart can have an unfortunate turn of phrase, give him the benefit of the doubt he seems genuine.
With that attitude you will hopefully meet a nice Filipina and start a good life together. As others have mentioned, I would recommend that you visit the Philippines. It is a great way to understand Filipino people!
