They said, "The centre it was delivered to deals only with applications coming in from outside the UK, and was therefore not the correct place".
A bit weird. Surely, an applicant from the Philippines is considered "outside the UK"? Regardless of whether the parcel is posted from within or outside the UK?

Anyway, I'm trying not to overthink that now. The HO claim they have it, and will process it, so I just need to stress over the decision now!

Just an update hope it helps someone...
I sent our docs in via RM Special Delivery. Expensive but important documents!
    Sent to:
    Settlement Applications
    International Operations and Visas
    6 Millsands
    Vulcan House
    Sheffield
    S3 8NH

Day after RM tracking said...Delivered to PO Box
Later same day RM tracking said...Collected and Signed at Your Customer Service Point (Signed for by RM Relay)

I would presume from this that any UKVI mail is diverted to a PO box at Sheffield Sorting Office and either collected from there by UKVI staff or delivered by RM to another address, hence RM Relay...

    That's interesting.

I sent 3 letters by recorded delivery last week (in an effort to try and locate my lost parcel).
    1) Millsands
    2) PO Box 5852
    3) Ecclesall Road

The Letters sent to 2) and 3) were both received and signed for by the same individual (and according to the HO the wrong address/es for my visa application)
Letter 1) was also received by "RM relay", as in your experience.

    Good luck! :)

My fiancee just received an email from UKVI:

    "
    Dear X

    Regarding Visa Application: GWFxxxxxxxx
    For X

We have received an enquiry regarding your application.

We received the documents on 31 August 2018, these were scanned on 01 September 2018 and linked to your application.

If you have any further enquiries, please visit our website at www.GOV.UK

    "

So they received the documents on the day Parcelforce delivered them, and processed them the next working day!

This story they gave my MP about it being delivered to the wrong office, then having to locate it, finally finding it on 7th September and sending it onto the correct department... complete codswallop!

Hi @Davids that's the same address that we have been given at VFS Manila when I had my Biometric. My Fiance used Royal Mail to deliver the parcel using "Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranted 1PM" and parcel was delivered just fine. But I have not received any correspondence from Home Office yet confirming that they have indeed received it and I dont know if they would normally notify you when they do. I will be sending them an email next week to check if they got it.

From memory, the HO/UKVI don't 'confirm' receipt of documents routinely - at least not at the time of receipt.
Personally, I would accept the Royal Mail proof of delivery and save yourself the cost of an email to UKVI...

Hi @UKDJ Yeah I think I would just do what you siad, that way we can save ££. LOL I kept the screenshot of Royal mail's proof of delivery with signature who received the parcel. It was delivered on 25th of March and documents have been with HOM (assuming they have it) them for almost 3 weeks now. Ugghhh!! This waiting game is dragging.............
