I like to recommend Avida Towers specially for first timers.

I booked a studio apartment only 20 sqm but good enough for 2, it cost £366 for 3 weeks and included dues and utilities (water, electricity). I'm sure there cheaper places out there but for my first time in the philippines this seemed the best option for me and Jonalyn knew the area.

the apartment it self clean, modern and has aircon (which was on full all the time)
24x7 condo lobby desk. Round the clock security and the guards could not do enough
    for us.

some taxi drivers did have trouble finding it but once I told them it was near Camp Crame and Greenhills they knew were it was

the most we paid for taxi was about 200pesos with tip and was to go to the mall of asia.

I would stay there again but maybe rent one of the 2 Bedroom Apartment with Balcony next time.

I know of this place but have never stayed there. These condos are great to stay in though. Cheaper than hotels and you are free to do as you please.

I've stayed at Cypress Towers in Taguig a couple of times, and Rosewood Pointe which is just down the road.

Rosewood has a fabulous pool, but I prefer Cypress because there are shops and restaurants near by as it is next to a Petron.
