I just submitted my application for spouse visa last week, and it does not end from here as waiting for the result is so :frust: After all that me and my husband have gone through including the so many arguments we have had ( am sure many of you had experience the same or will experience the same) and the stress and pressures of gathering all the documents, now my room is clutter free from all of these papers but my brain seems to be so occupied with so much worries and my heart is starting to feel the pain of waiting:(

The documents i submitted are as follows:( two set of copies)
VAF form online with all the rest of the form they will be sending to you once you book your appointment to vfs. In my case i chose to use the VIP service.
Letter of Support from Hubby and my letter to ECO
Passport copies of me and my husband including previous ones
    Marriage certificate and Birth certificate
    TOEIC exam certificate
    CFO
4 months bank statements with at least 6-700 left savings bec of the visa expenses which we explained on his letter
Copy and stamped pass book on his savings to building society which has 910 pounds
1 year and 4 months of payslips
    P60( 2011-2012)
Monthly Budget plan that shows how much he spends a month against his salary and how much he still have left
A snapshot copy of his shares on online showing how much we are expecting next year
    Employment Contract
Letter of Support from the landlord
    House photos
    Rent book
Letter of support from my sister and bro in law (british citizen too) and their bank statements. I included their support to assure the embassy that if i face financial troubles i have family who can always help me and will not recourse to public funds
Letter of support from his parents and passports
My credentials including CV, Diploma, TRO
Email and Chat logs and sample copies
    Photograph timeline
    Hotel and transportation receipts
    Monthly remittances
Greeting cards which i end up submitting only four!two cards off him and two cards from me

with all these documents, i took out all my courage and book my appointment online, i emailed the VFS as i dont get any slot available on my chosen date through that site they have for booking an appointment. I was relieved that i took that VIP service not that i do have lots of money but it was convenient for me as i do have a driver waiting and charging me by the hour lol! NOW am one of those applicants who toss and turn on their beds at night far worse than when you miss your husband!:frust: it has been just days but when i read post how long others have been waiting, am expecting mine far worse as there are so many lined up already for their visa! I only pray now that i get to have my visa and be able to celebrate our FIFTH YEAR ANNIVERSARY together in august.

With all that eveidence submitted, I don't see where you get the sleepless nights from.......:erm:

You should learn to relax, you have both supplied over and above what is required, so personally I think it is only matter of time before you get that text...........

    All the best.:like:

Due to potential changes in June, there has been a huge amount of applications within the last month or so. Plus with the Olympics fiasco it seems that the UKBA (and linked departments and organisations) are under a fair bit of stress..

I know right now there are a lot of delays with visa applications. Please try not to worry, from that list it looks fine :)

I hope you get your visa soon. UKBA have had problems with their computer system recently (at least for those foreigners already in the UK). and we are all worrying about the possible income rule changes in June. Personally, I don't think any income rule changes are likely to happen soon and if they should occur I doubt very much that a minimum income of £25,700 would stand up to scrutiny by the courts.

Agreed, and a legal team who looked at it said it MIGHT stand up in court. There is a big difference between a might and a will in legal terms. Personally, I doubt those proposals would stand up in court and would be a waste of the Governments time and money, but hey.. They like wasting money at times.
