Where are you getting that number from Malcolm? I didn't think that many test kits existed in the UK.

All the advisors will be tested now, if they haven't already.

Students try to flee UK by chartered plane for 'safer' China:

    https://www.theguardian.com/educati...to-flee-uk-by-chartered-plane-for-safer-china

From the article..... "But universities report that Chinese students, who make up a third of non-European international students in the UK, have been among the most keen to leave. They say Chinese parents were alarmed by the UK government’s initial "herd immunity" message on the virus, and feel the lockdown has come too late."

Regarding Boris being tested positive, if he continues on TV through to feeling better, it will be a confidence lift for the nation.
I hope he does as it will show the bulldog spirit in the country.

Lots of people have recovered so let's all stay positive.

In the last 20 minutes my temperature has gone up to 38.2 degrees, and my heart rate has gone through the roof, I have been out once in the last week prior to this morning and that was 30 minutes last Sunday to Morrisons,

I got a reading in the other ear a moment ago of 37.8 degrees.

I am prone to panic but not to sudden temperature changes, this is surprising.

    Presumably they have contingency plans.

I feel hot but not feverish, it climbed just after I had lunch, I have a tightness in my chest and the glimmer of a tickle of a cough but not really coughing.

The pulse oximeter is reading ok although my heart rate is high at 105 but a hell of a lot lower than an hour ago when I was panicking when it read 139, when I work up this morning it was 65 and my temperature was 36.5. The Perfusion index is low but it's not that good at that, and with a finger at an angle seems to read low.

I reckon I have it and I reckon it could only realistically have been at work as we stopped working last Friday and we had field staff in the office up from London during that week, I told my boss the week before that we should stop field staff from visiting the office :(

Also my back is hot and my chest is hot.

Do you have anyone local who looks in on you?

No but I am in touch with my boss, he's aware and I will keep him up to date.

The pulse oximeter purchase was inspired by uklove's wife's story, I wanted to know my oxygen levels so that I could call 999 at the right time if I had to.

I see they are completely missing the point in The Philippines, and rounding up people ignoring the curfew and putting them all together in a cage.

Also, according to my wife, they have police guarding areas all day, who then go home in the evening and everyone comes out and gets together to socialise once they have left.

As my wife said "You can't stop Filipinos from going out!"
