Road rage, this morning while going to pick my wife up from work at 7-35am. I was at the Cinderbank Island turning right to go up the Dudley by pass, while exiting the Island a guy in a Blue Van tried to undertake me (Pass on the inside) so i moved over to let him pass, next thing he is constantly blasting his horn at me, then he pulls alongside me, and is either videoing me or taking pics, then he tries to force me off the road, by cutting across me, and slowing down, so i go past him and he weaves across the road as i pass him, then he comes alongside me again and throws something at my car hitting it somewhere on the back, at the Flood street island i continue straight on and so does he, again he continues to slow me down, move me over, but i carry on, then again he throws something which hits the windscreen of my car, there was a white car some distance behind watching what was going on, i think she was scared to pass because she could see what was happening, anyways at Castlegate Island this guy goes into the inside lane, and stops at the lights on red, then goes straight down Tipton Road, I hang back about 10 car lengths then when the lights turn to green i indicate right and go right, the lady in the white car behind shakes her head to me and makes a signal to her head.. I can only say this guy needs anger management before he seriously hurts someone, I dread to think what might have happened had a less experienced driver been involved with this young guy, he is about 30 ish, Im 68 so no way was i going to stop and get involved with this guy who needs to take a long hard look at his reaction. Im 68 still drive for a haulage company, and proud of my driving record.. but i was scared of the way this driver reacted.. unfortunately i was to concerned for my own safety and didnt get his registration..

Good to see you can now send dashcam footage of drivers behaving illegally via this website: https://www.nextbase.com/en-gb/national-dash-cam-safety-portal/

I'm a delivery driver for a major supermarket, and the I've seen some appalling driving standards on the roads. Usually, its an Audi or BMW, especially those limited edition Audis that don't have direction indicators. Are these optional extras on Audi these days or what?:p

Didn't know you were a driver, Heathen :) What type of vehicle do you drive? There are quite a few drivers on this forum. We are swelling and not just our midriffs.

I have quite a few problems in the yard before I get out onto the road - vans trying to get out fast because they get paid by the drops or collections. :frust:
So many bad :boxer: drivers everywhere and yes, many angry ones too o_O

You should try driving over here:lol: Forget the highway code it does not exist. I try and keep calm but when trying to make a turn and a Filipino over takes you, nearly colliding into you. I give him/her a loud blast on the horn and a few swear words that I can't repeat on here :boxer:.

I had a go at driving about a year ago, when my oil and gas industry work started to diminish. Driving a Merecedes Sprinter van for a well known online store. I gave it up after just a month or so as I nearly knocked a couple of people off their bicycles in an effort to make the deliveries assigned to me for the day.

I had a similar experience many moons ago, when I was a wee bit more courageous and, more importantly, single...
I doubt very much, the immature BMW driver I kind of encouraged into a lovely welsh ditch would try to badger anyone ever again.

i drove light vans delivering wholesale food products in my late teens in the West Midlands, and in later years furniture vans from the Isle of Wight to London via the Portsmouth ferry. I found it easier to drive a vehicle that size than a car..a better view of whats up ahead.

The "Lost City" its where i think the former Wolves & England player https://www.fanchants.com/football-songs/wolverhampton_wanderers-chants/stevie-bull/ Steve Bull grew up, it is DY4 0XH the roads North, South, East and West plus surrounding Streets such as Coronation Avenue, Hall Lane, Ocker Hill Road, the last time i went around that particular area must have been about 1990 ish, lots of the windows were boarded up, but almost all had Sattelite dishes a bit of a rarity at that time, and the most common mode of transport in those houses were Pick Up Trucks used for tatting (scrap metal dealing) i would guess 50% of the houses had that mode of transport, they loved Whippet, Greyhound racing and Pigeon racing in that area, often they would place a weeks income on whatever Whippet, Greyhound or Pigeon that they fancied to win that particular week, dont get me wrong its a rough area, but the folks are the salt of the earth, I almost forgot to add they also liked a pint or eight :D, I used to race Pigeons and graduated into Greyhound racing, also a couple of players from our sunday morning football team lived around their which is why i know a bit about that area...
