    Hi all.

In 2 weeks, myself and my sister intend to leave the Philippines.

I saw a post some time ago by British Embassy Manila on Facebook. It said:

"You may need certain requirements such as Barangay clearance, Health Certificate or Travel Authority for any travel outside of your residence, including to the airport"

Does anybody know if I actually need to do a swab test to go to the airport (For checkpoints on the way?) and to get inside the airport and onto the plane?

    Thank you in advance.

Iv no idea about Philippines requirments, but for here in the UK you will need to self quarantine for 2 weeks on arrival in the UK.

I've just left the Philippines, all airlines are asking for a COVID free certification before flying and it needs to be done within 96 hours of departure. We flew on Emirates but Qatar and PAL are asking the same. Check the airline website as they have a list of approved testing centres. If travelling to the UK from PH you also need to fill out the health declaration form which is online at the GOV.UK site advising them where you will undertake the 2 week quarantine.
