I've been chatting with a filipina online for a year, she seems very nice but obviously we haven't met because of covid. Her birthday is coming up, any ideas for a gift? She lives in Singapore, I'm not looking to give anything extravagant but it would be nice to give something rather than just say happy birthday
I should add that I don't have an address to post anything to, though I suppose I could potentially get one but she probably wouldn't want anything sent to her employers home in any case.
Start with flowers and a box of chocolate... As a first time............. If she throws it back at you......... Move on...........
It's my experience that Filipinas aren't really into Flowers or boxes of chocolates. Now a tub of skin whitener is a different matter.
I think most see cut flowers as a waste as they only last a few days. My wife prefers plants that she can plant and grow. She is the gardener and does have green fingers, whilst I'm limited to weeding and sweeping up the leaves.
