Hi peeps,If and when my fiancee gets her fiancee visa application
Sorted out to come back to the UK will she have to have a negative Covid test before she can fly ?
If that is the case I don't know what the vaccine situation is out there,or if she will be offered it.
    Any idea ?
    Cheers
    Dave.

Iy was on the news a couple of days ago, it seems that in most parts of Asia they will be given the Chines vaccine Sinovac.

Not sure if payment is needed and/or if they will give a vaccination passport.

The latest is that all arrivals Worldwide to the UK will now have to self isolate for 10 Days on arrival, but if they take a covid test after 5 days of isolation and it shows negative, they can then continue life under the lockdown rules prevelant at the time, but by then they could have travelled to their end destination by public transport and have infected various people if they have any symptoms.. thats the flaw in the current situation, much better to have approved hotels (who badly need income) that arrivals use for the isolation period..

Thanks,I thought travellers would have to prove they are Covid free before they boarded to fly to UK.

So if you failed the test before take off you would lose your flight and receive no refund.

I have also heard cases of people not being allowed to board a flight to leave the UK as they took a test but the results arrived after the flight took off. I only hope they can sort out rapid testing at the airport.

my wife runs a care home--all staff and residents are swab-tested several times a week. she bought a kit home to test me: cotton bud stick in the throat and up the nose..then applied to a small disposable test strip thing. result within a few minutes.

    i was ok--not pregnant.

Question the fob is saying you need to isolate on arrival then have a COVID test on the 2nd day and the 8th day how's that possible if you have to isolate I don't get it ?
