I see it for what it is to me, simply a sneaky way to import cheap labour, as the proper paying jobs are found in and around larger cities and towns. The wee krankie's fingerprints are all over the idea as another way to try to undermine UK Government. They (SNP) should concentrate on sorting out the mess they got themselves in rather than try to deflect attention from it. Voters are not stupid, but a large proportion of them suffer from naivety
It's a bit like the Canadian PNP (provincial nominations program) trying to get immigrants into places that aren't popular.
Our Nicola wants to fly the EU Flag all year round on official buildings and the Union flag to be flown once a year on remembrance day.
Her dream of an independent Scotland being able to re-join the EU is what it is, just a dream. As they wouldn't let what they classify an economically irrelevant country enter the club. If they did, it would only be to spite the UK, but it would be at a huge cost to themselves, and in this day and age of other countries being very unhappy in its fold and thinking of a separation of ways, call it "conscious uncoupling" if one wants, they may think that it ain't a great idea to allow a country that was heavily reliant on Westminster money to join
I'd go to live there if they could house all my family in a large house in a remote area! Scotland is so beautifully wild and rugged away from big cities. The accent in the Inverness area is very soft and appealing to my unacustomed ears. My family name is traced back to Scotland.
