Hi, could anyone here please advise if my B1 English test which I used for Flrm is still alright to reuse for my Ilr next year? As read somewhere that as long as I used during my previous successful application can be reused even though is already passed the two year expiring date. Also, can I take my LITUK test like in January to prepare my for Ilr as present flrm due to expire September 2022. Thank you for help.
Hi @act - B1 IELTS English is fine for your ILR application. Regarding LitUK test, check the website to see if there is an expiration but I can't see it being a problem if you take the test 8 or 9 months before your ILR application.
Thank you so much for reply. Just to clarify, my B1 would be expired by the time I apply Ilr next year, it still useable?
thank you so much. Is good to know as don’t want to push everything to the last minute as you can see with all the documents to gather. Since I’m on here, my flrm expiring 14 September 2020, so the earliest I could apply for Ilr is 28 days before this date! And I could arrange to go for citizen naturalisation without having to wait as husband is born British? Sorry for bombarding with questions
Some recognised test qualifications only last for 2 years. You can still use a B1 level qualification that you took more than 2 years ago in 2 situations. You can use a B1 level qualification that's run out if you're applying and it was accepted when you settled in the UK providing the test centre you took it at is still on the government approved list
Hi, wonder if you could please confirm my English test Certificate as just checked, it taken at Trinity showing as follows Grade 5 Graded Examination in Spoken English GESE Entry Level Certificate in ESOL International Speaking and Listening (Entry 3) CEFR Level B1.1 with Distinction Date : October 2019 Place of Entry: London Central SELT Centre It doesn’t show any expiry date. Please confirm if this is acceptable for my Ilr application next September. Again, thank you for help.
