Had my biometrics appointment this morning at 8:30 and got my decision at 5:20 this afternoon saying my ILR application was successful. Very well pleased. Finally, visa journey over. Now to the ultimate goal of becoming a British citizen.
Hi Brom27! I have a question regarding my FLR (M) visa application. I have submitted my online application last April 16. My BRP would expire on May 8, but the available appointment for biometric is on May 11, which is 3 days late. Is this alright or would I need to find another service point? I hope you can advise me. Thank you
Congratulations for the successful ILR application @Brom27 !! Im collecting my docs now for uploading,.could you please verify if its still needed that the bank statements have stamps or downloaded ones from online should be enough?. Thanks in advance!
Thank you @Mattecube. So no need for a letter from the bank stating the authenticity of the online statements?. Because I found this under financial requirements: "Bank statements must be on official bank stationery. Alternatively, electronic bank statements can also be accepted for all bank accounts (the account itself does not have to be exclusively online) as long as they are either accompanied by a letter from the bank on its headed stationery confirming that the documents are authentic or which bear the official stamp of the issuing bank on every page." The paragraph confused me regarding the need of letter from the bank.
It's a bit old hat that rule! We got to my wife's British Citizenship and her daughter's ILR on internet statements (nationwide building society).
