Red horse is Okay if drank sensibly, I drink it a lot but in moderation. Good if you want to get drunk quick.
Seen a lot of Filipinos well pissed on red horse outside a disco puking up.

I tried RH on a couple of occasions, and maybe it is ok in absence of anything better.

In Pi Red Horse is the best tasting local beer. IMO :)

In England with its plethora of warm beers from excellent "micro brewery's" why would one choose a lager.?
The best, IMO, :) supermarket available, reasonably priced, bottled beer is

Theakstons old Peculiar, come on guys - not only is it better tasting than anything mentioned so far it actually describes how you feel after a few!

IMHO any, that's ANY, lager RH, Stella, Bud etc only tastes good when the temperature outside is greater than 30C which is why its a mystery to me as to why its so popular in the UK :)

I drink Theakstons Mild in my local, and very nice it is indeed, plus nowhere near as strong as Old Peculiar :)

Used to drink only San Migel in the Philippines (the one in the uk is Spanish ugh!); A friend came to dinner whilst I was in the Philippines, came with some Red Horse, tried it, now it's the beer for me. Got some in the UK at a Fiesta but £2.50 a bottle (330mm). Need to find it cheaper somewhere in the midlands!

Theres a couple of places in London that sell Red Horse in bottles (330ml) but its a fair bit more expensive than £2.50!! What i really need is an Empirador supplier... :p

    Red horse, no thanks!

I like the local craft beers brewed by the "G Point brewery" in Manila, and sold at the G Point bar, also sold at Harleys bar just outside Subic, awesome beers.

I have never tried any of the other Philippine craft breweries.

I did quite liked the Red Horse when in the PH. Definitely was my drink of choice. But everything in moderation as we say. :)

my wife bought me a case of red horse ( from the local fili food store ) a couple of years or so back. Definitely one for sipping rather than knocking back. Ive still got a few bottles left in the booze cupboard.

I use to buy case's of red horse and San Mig but I don't drink beer anymore, I buy cases of Tanduay instead. :like:

I had a sniff of tanduay once, I swear the fumes made me feel momentarily dizzy

I honestly don't think its as strong as whiskey, maybe I've just got use to it, I can't drink it like the locals do, neat then have a drink of water using the same glass.

I have never drank whisky nor tanduay nor any spirit, the effects on a person are scary, I knew a guy on siquijor, bright red eyes, a drunkard, always sitting drinking tanduay in the street in daylight, I later heard he died of some alcohol related disease

I drink in moderation and have a strict 2 hour window after 9 pm and only consume two shots of rum with ice and diet coke.
