    I can believe that to be the case in light of the changes going on of late. I don't disagree with current spousal visa rules but I can certainly understand why people will look at alternatives if they can't meet those requirements

    Sorry if this has already been posted but:

    What immigration status would a Pinoy spouse have if entering uk through the Singh method?

    What about future family holidays? Would there be any issues with re-entering uk?

    Under Eindt although your spouse initialy would apply (after UK entry and only if she wished) for a 5 year initial residence card EEA2 and after 5 years can apply for P.R. (permanent residence) no tests of any kind unless he/she wants citizenship there are no further test of qualification for spouses of Brits under this route

    Hi Keith. You say 'only if she wished'. So the EEA2 card is not necessary? What difference does it make whether she gets it or not? Is it necessary to work in the uk?
