What visa do I need to get a job in the PH?

What visa do I need to live there for a year or so?

Your prospective employer will firstly need to apply for a work permit in your name from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and then sponsor you for a Work Visa (Section 13(g)). Neither are easy or cheap to obtain and the employer won't be granted the permit if the job can be performed by a Filipino.

You can stay for up to 14 months as a Tourist. If you're a British Passport holder, you can enter the country under the Visa Waiver scheme and be granted 30 days upon arrival. You can apply for extensions of stay at an office of the Bureau of Immigration for which fees are payable.

    Are you married yet Justin?
If so you can apply for a 13a visa either in the UK at the London embassy or in the R.P..
Its really a resident visa that allows you to work here if you wish..
Do a google search for 13a visa.. all the information is there..
    best of luck!
