I found it quite strange at 5000 feet looking down with a big fan strapped on my back suddenly realising I had gone up rather than a standard skydive coming down.
Yup,got an altimeter now,all singing all dancing bells and whistles kit,i was chatting to a guy today from Pakistan who told me para-gliding is taking off over there now in the northern valleys,would love to go back,he was showing me pics.
What I meant was the Italians make the best ice cream (gelato). I had several when over there last year. It was fantastic.
Yup,wouldn't mind an electric one but you don't get the distance or time in the air with battery power.
