    Hi friends, good day!
I would like to ask if getting an agency from spousal visa application will be a big help?
I feel that they are just delaying the application, asking so much papers not really important
I read post here of some successful spousal visa application they made it by themselves like Cha, and Chainclude very important papers like proof of wedding, relationship, financial and accommodation as well.

My partner and I have been in a relationship for 6 months and we got married this December in Phil, now planning to apply for spousal visa.
My husband talked to an agency and said that the short length of our relationship is somehow become weakness of our application. We supposed to be applying for a fiancé visa but end up getting married as we were adviced that we will have a stringer case if we are married.

I'd like to hear to hear your thoughts.
    Thank you

Hi Erica, welcome aboard British Filipino :welcome:

May I suggest as a first step you both review the UKVI webpage call "Apply to join family living permanently in the UK" the link is here:-
    https://www.gov.uk/join-family-in-uk/overview

Read through carefully and follow all the appropriate links.

Here's a link for the Financial Requirement:-
    https://www.gov.uk/government/uploa..._FM_1_7_Financial_Requirement_August_2015.pdf

It's a key requirement that your husband has an annual gross income of min £18600 (unless exempted)

For the circumstances of most folks it's not a difficult process. Especially when you can raise any specific questions or concerns here in the forum and receive clarifications and comments from those who have been through the process.

Do be aware that you'll need to organise and co-ordinate a few key issues such as the UKVI Approved English Language test and also the TB test.

There's quite a few key documents from your husbands side such as Financial Requirement and Accommodation.

Most people do it themselves and very successfully too.

But, if you can't give the time and attention needed, or if you feel there are some weaknesses or complications that pull down your self-confidence and you've got the budget then by all means seek professional help.

In general you'll find there's more than enough help here on the forum.

There are no short cuts or guarantees for a visa

An 'agency' cannot do all the work for you, they cannot collate all the required documented evidence. You still need answer many questions and do plenty of running around yourself.
All they can do is ask you to supply the needed information and the UKBA required documentation.

Once you've reviewed the UKVI webpage and links do feel feel to ask any specific questions here.

    Good luck

Hi Micawber thank you so much for your reply I'll send to my husband the link and we will review it together. My husband meet the financial requirements, we are also okay with the accommodation requirements. Our relationship is 6 months and we got married, we are thinking that ECO might be skeptical.
We will do the very best that we can thank you for welcoming me here and for the informative reply.
