a great relief for you..now you can move ahead with your lives.

are you willing to say how long the whole process took--and the total cost ? for others benefit who may also want an annullment.

i know just how you feel. we have been married now 18 months--and about to apply for her 11 y o son to come over.

one of the snags with these visa delays--its a pain the travel window is only 30 days. wife has to book holiday from work--and find flights so she can go over to collect him.

For those off you that have travelled this road before, what happens next ?? OK we got the court papers saying marriage is annulled etc etc. Is there supposed to be some contact from the Cenomar people ?? or do we apply somewhere ??

Bit lost with the next steps and trying to get answers from the Attorney is like trying to platt fog.

    Congratulations to you both!

As for the next step, as far as I can make out, your wife's lawyer needs to file some papers with the National Statistics Office including a certified copy of the Annullment Order issued by the Court. That could take several weeks before your lady's marital status shows up on searches as having changed.

Hi @DJB I just done my annulment this year , After I got the Court Decision I told my lawyer that I will do rest myself , Is the court paper youre saying is the Court Decision ? Because if it is the court decision then you will have to wait for the Certificate of Finality , but if you already have the certificate of finality , You have to register it to the Local Civil Registrar where the annulment is granted and they will issue you the certificate of Registration and the Certificate of Authenticity , You need these certificates to get the Annotated Marriage certificate from PSA/NSO and also the Cenomar . I hope this helps !
