We received the Spouse Priority VISA yesterday.

    Applied 5th MAy
They received all documents by special delivery on 16th May
They acknowledged receipt of documents 24th July
They said unable to process in 60 working days.
My MP recieved an email on 21st September stating they are unable to process the application.
We recieved notification on 29th Spetember that a decision had been made.
We recieved the Passport 2nd October.

It's 3 months late. at least.

    When she is coming here???????????????????????

No paperwork for my newborn daughter yet and it's not even been applied for!

    Still fuming.

    Looking at the above timeline.

    my conclusion is this.

They received the documents 16th May.
    They opened and scanned them.
They the did nothing until the MP contacted them and after 21st September they got a kick in the ass from someone above to process it.
The processing took around 8 days from 21st to 29th September.

Hopefully those still waiting a long time will be processed soon.

Hello everyone.. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped out and comforted us during the dreading waiting times! We received our visa today!!!! Here is our timeline of the application.

June 29: Online Application Submitted (Standard)
July 10: Fiancee went for Biometrics. Also at the same day in UK I sent the documents away.
July 23: Received email from UKVI confirming receipt of application
July 24: Received back the documents ( Nothing was taken away, not even the photocopies, however they were piled outside my folder)
October 2: Received an SMS saying the passport is ready for collection as decision has been made. This is 60th working day from the biometrics appointment.
October 3: Fiancee went to VFS office to collect the passport. Just the passport ( No letters, no nothing!) :):):) (But happy at last!!!)

There are a few things that might give a little enlightenment (or give more confusion ) :

    - Apart from the confirmation email and the SMS , there was no contact whatsoever from them. Although we have been hearing from others about their delayed application, I still had faith that they would complete it in time.
    - Been using the tracker on the website, did not work at all, which made the missus so worried :frust:.... Although it says there that it is a trial service.
    - I asked our HR staff who made my COE and my accommodation agent if they were contacted by the Home Office about our application. Guess what????? No contact at all for confirmation/ further info. And the HR staff has told me something. She said when she worked in civil service before, they only looked further on applications that were only complicated. Maybe this is what happened to ours. I think they just brushed through our documents, checked that they are all present and found out that the application was too straight forward to bring up to the ECO so straightaway they told VFS office in manila that it was all OK for the passport to get stamped? Could they be doing this just to tackle the application delays?

Really appreciate everyone in here!! To those still waiting for a decision, I really hope you get them soon!:cat::cat::cat:

    Hi,

I am following a thread on BE and seems most application from Thailand are pushing through. As stated below, the move the decision making back to bangkok. I am wondering now if "they" the HO Sheffield will move it back in manila?

    Been waiting since April 20.

Hopefully everything will get sorted this month.

Hi guys, now that we have secured entry to UK, do we have to know anything like if my fiancee needs to bring with her upon her entry to UK. Will she asked for questions at the airport? Been googling for that info i cant seem to find one. Cheers.

Hi all...Day 124 for us today.
I need your help. If anyone has received an email from VFS saying that the visa has been decided, how was it worded?
My wife received an email from them earlier today that to me looks rather ambiguous. I have copied below:

    "Dear SHIELA *********,
The processed visa application for GWF reference number - GWF********* was received at the UK Visa Application Centre on 10/10/2017 .
If a courier service was purchased from VFS Global, your processed application will be delivered to the chosen address.
If not, your documents can be collected during the designated passport collection times.
Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email."

I, really hoping this is trying to say that a decision has been made...am I correct? But why if that is the case do they say the application was received at the UK Visa Application Centre. Im sick of the Home Office so I disbelieve everything now...

Please put me out of my misery.

Fingers crossed you've got the decision at last. I agree about Sheffield - it's a shambles and an embarrassment.
