i use facebook all the time. just personal friends and some family members as friends. but i'm on several hobby and special interest groups.
Let's put it this way... On the "social media", things are not always what they seem... You may think that what you are getting is this... but what you might really dealing with could be this: In real life, if you are lucky, what you might get is this: (Photo credits 1 and 2, Mags, photo credit 3 Top Floor Studios, Woodbridge, Suffolk...) If my wife can do that, just playing with an app on her phone, what can seriously motivated people who do not have your best interests at heart achieve? I'm happy with the real thing and willing to go to some lengths to find it.
I'm never off facebook. Always hoping to bump into a long-lost billionaire relative. As for profile pics etc...be wary on sites like dateinasia. .

Some people on here should minimize being so much of a negatron so there's less arguments. You drive away people who initially like the forum, honestly. Agree to disagree!
But the truth is with such diversity, you cannot expect everyone to agree with each others opinion. We all have our say in every matter and you cannot expect others to have the same opinion as you.. What we all need to do is respect someone else's opinion instead of trying to convince them that what you say is right.
Yes that's why I said 'Agree to disagree' you don't like Facebook, fine. Some people do, that should be fine as well!
Timmers if you don't recognize me, it's Jenibele. I requested for a change of name. If you remember I was greeted with arguments when I first came on here when JohnAsh was still here. Eventually he was banned. Then my fiancé had an argument with Methersgate that made him decide to not use the forum anymore. But I'm still here, the forum is very helpful but sometimes the people can very pushy with their opinions.
