Coldest place I've ever been was here, 1 mile from Glasgow airport in ma bed at 7am with the radio telling me it was -25 degrees C That was back in about 1983 edit: meant to say the radio was telling me that it was -25 C at Glasgow airport
It was much worse than that, the soil pipe running down the outside of the building had frozen solid and froze all the way back up to the loo It was like that for days, they've moved the soil pipe since then as it's not where it used to be in that photo.
Coldest for me was Quebec in 2016 when it got down to -41 with windchill and we had a frostbite advisory on TV,managed to do a spot of ice fishing though,Ottawa's parliament building in the background of the pic,i had just been skating on the Rideau.
