    Nova scotia is just up the road,but for sheer beauty Ontario wipes Scotland off the map :cool:

    The coldest I have been was at the ice festival in Dalian. I worked in China for a few months in the 80s. It was miserable and cold. China was miserable in the 80s

    Coldest place I have been is Blackpool seafront. It’s still pretty miserable now. :)

    I walked the Memory Walk along the front a couple of years ago. Fastest one I have done.

    Coldest place I've ever been was here, 1 mile from Glasgow airport in ma bed at 7am with the radio telling me it was -25 degrees C :D

    That was back in about 1983 :)

    edit: meant to say the radio was telling me that it was -25 C at Glasgow airport :)

    It was much worse than that, the soil pipe running down the outside of the building had frozen solid and froze all the way back up to the loo :D

    It was like that for days, they've moved the soil pipe since then as it's not where it used to be in that photo.

    Coldest for me was Quebec in 2016 when it got down to -41 with windchill and we had a frostbite advisory on TV,managed to do a spot of ice fishing though,Ottawa's parliament building in the background of the pic,i had just been skating on the Rideau.
