hi im in the process of typing up the financial requirement form i just have a few questions,
    https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/270484/VAF4A-Appendix2.pdf

    1. im applying my cash savings and with help from my salaried income therefore what parts do i complete part 3A and 3F?

    2. We have our son who lives in the Philippines with my wife he's on a ROA in the uk(stamped in passport) with regards to 3.2 do i select apply with no child dependants? as i'm aware he shouldn't be counted towards the financial requirement.

    3. It says 'cash savings source of funds' my cash savings was gifted to me from my grandparents and parents to help meet the requirement, would i just put 'Gifted from parents and grandparents?'

    thanks

    1. Yes complete part 3A and 3F.

    2. That's right, applying with no dependants.

    3. Yes say something like "A gift from parents/grandparents."

You are not answering anything on Part 4. That is only for people who are exempt from meeting the financial requirement.

You are using a combination of salaried employment and cash savings over £16k so your categories are correct, take a look at the attached document, it tells you everything you need to know about different financial scenarios.

The financial institute is your bank, submit address details etc.

In what form are these savings held? Here you need to state they are cash savings that can be immediately accessed, state the name/type of account. The UKVI are trying to establish that you can withdraw cash immediately, you cannot use a bank account where you have to give six months notice for example to withdraw cash.

    Thanks,

Question 1.19. Have you lived with your sponsor in a relationship akin to marriage or civil partnership at anytime including since your wedding? - just wondering what i can put for this. As last time i was with my wife was when she was on a visit visa in which she stayed for 4 months and living with parents, can i use that? And times weve been on vacation etc?

1.27 does your sponsor have any children? - may sound like a bone question but does this mean children with my wife as we have 1 together. Or does this mean children not related with my wife? Which i dont have anyway.

    Thanks,

carrying on from that 1.28 asks "is your sponsor responsible for supporting anyone financially, including any children listed above" ...... i do send money to my wife once a month to support them both. if i say yes is this going to impact the visa?

    Yeah thanks,

with regards to submitting 6 months bank statements. My grandad previously sent me a lump sum in order to help with the visa this was about 8 months ago though. Do i need to submit that bank statement with the transaction on it or should i just send my last 6 months statements and of course il be supplying a letter from my grandad about the lump sum being a gift.

it will do no harm including that statement showing the lump sum deposited--together with that covering letter. but the most recent 6 months are essential.

As I Internet bank and never had statements when I requested statements the Nationwide provided a letter headed covering letter advising they were copies but a true record the letter went with the statements
