The wife is filling out the appendix 2 form for the spouse visa and we are stuck on 2 questions so hoping someone can clarify what we have to put,the first question is. 2.8 Do you intend to work in the uk yes or no we ticked yes. As it will be the spouse visa we are applying for this grants her to work in the uk, seems to me the way it is worded she is just coming to work and not live here. the second question is. 3.21 Does your sponsors annual income (before tax) from their current salaried employment meet or exceed the financial requirement you must meet.i have put yes because i have worked for my employer for over 12 years there is no option to go to another section so the next question is 3.22 If your sponsor has not been employed by the same employer for 6 months prior to the application does their income (before tax) from salaried employment received in the 12 months prior to your application meet or exceed the financial requirement you must meet do we tick the yes or no box Many Thanks.
2.8 Yes, once she has obtained the BRP on entry to the UK and applied for the NI number 3.21 Yes 3.22 N/A as you have been employed by the same company for 12 years
Its a bit of a nonsense question, just say YES. No one can start work until they have the BRP and the NI number as Timmers pointed out.
