    HI,
I'm wonderin if anyone has the same case with mine. Im a Filipina currently in Dubai. My british boyfriend and i had met once in dubai too after being in a 2-month relationship.

We will be seeing each other again next year in the philipines in July. His plan is to fly back to the UK with me after a month holiday in the philipinnes.
My concern is, is there a way visa would be approved as by the time i will start the process our relationship will be on its 13month only.
Another thing, we just met once but constantly communicating.

    Please share me your thoughts

Hi there and welcome, Im guessing you would want a standard visit visa https://www.gov.uk/standard-visitor-visa sometimes these are more difficult to get than a Fiancee or Spouse visa, you will need a letter from your employer, and have to give good reasons why you would return to either Dubai or the Philippines, usually having a bank account, having property, having a job to go back to are all good reasons why you would want to return, If you wont have a job at that time would usually be a negative for your application because you will need to prove that you can support yourself whilst in the UK, even though your Bf will probably be sponsoring you.. feel free to ask as many questions as you want, people on here are only to willing to help..

    Yep
I met my now wife... September 2018...applied for fiance visa August 2019... Got a decision October 2019..and was approved... As long as you can prove you've met and been together.. I'd say at least 6 months you'll be fine... There are of course hurdles to jump... Income etc comes into play

In which case follow this link https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa you couldnt have come to a better site for info on this, just ask away, Keep your pics of you together, keep logs of your chats, it doesnt really matter how long you have known each other but 13 months is more than enough, its obtaining the proofs of relationships which are important, plus the financial requirements and accomodation etc etc.. Good luck..

    Hi Lilian and welcome
Can I suggest a degree of slowing down as the way forward.
From your post you say that you have met once but have been communicating lots and often.
You say your BF wants to come across to the Philippines and take you back after his months vacation, if you apply for a fiancee visa you will wait between probably 8 to 12 weeks for a response depending on the application and how straightforward it is you then will be able to travel from the visa valid , so the question is when will you fly? What return date will your BF put on his flight return ticket? Will you be able to get on the same plane?
I would suggest from a practical point of view that you prepare the application prior to your BF next trip and when he is there you submit the application.
This will allow you to update your photos not with the ones you've already got but most recent ones also. It strengthens the application. It will also allow you both while together to double check the information you are submitting.
Yes it means you will have to follow him across but as I said earlier I would of thought the likelihood of tying flights up for you both and to coincide with the visa validity travel period will be tricky
