If you're not yet in the UK, you're best applying for your Schengen visa from the Philippines or wherever you are residing.

Personally though, I wouldn't want to travel til I have applied for my FLR.

Thanks for the reply! But what makes you say this?

Remember, when your Fiancée is in the UK she is not permitted to do any work paid or unpaid until she applies and obtains the FLR(M) and I'm guessing that includes any business she has in Europe.

She does not become a resident of the UK until she has the FLR(M) this could have an affect on obtaining a Schengen visa in the UK, you need to check with the French Embassy or apply from the Philippines as @Dav3&Ai5a has suggested.

my wife have travelled in germany france, greece using shengen visa , she applied when she was in dubai, she just submitted her work employment certificates and proof of income and she got 3 months, she says you should apply a different visa to go to france before you go to the uk as it might get too complicated that is if you are based in the philippines and just visiting the uk

I have the same question. What if we just decided to go to Spain to visit my boyfriend's dad and tell him about our upcoming marriage whilst on a UK fiancé visa? Has anyone experienced applying a schengen in UK on a fiancé visa?
