Hi everyone! Scheduled for vfs on tuesday. I wanted to ask though about the ihs receipt. Did you receive a separate email receipt from worldpay? Do i have to print it and show it to vfs? I havent received one yet. Or is it the one that says transaction confirmation, retain for your records?

I'm moments away from Submitting our application for my Wife & my Stepson
When we make the appointments at VFS Global I assume we need 2 appointments 1 for my Wife and 1 for my Stepson, I assume we are likely to get these sequentially.

There seems to be very little information about Sheffield scanning service:

1. How do they want document presented Barcodes or Not
2. What Order they want them in
3. Do I need to send originals i.e. deeds for my house. (I'm concerned if they go missing)
4. Can I send 2 linked applications in one package.
5. I've read something about they send confirmation they have received them, how does that happen, do I provide my email or Mobile No. with covering letter...

Can anyone point me to where this information can be found?

my understanding is---you still send originals + photocopies of docs you want back. i would not send deeds to my house ! have you even got them ? just proof of ownership..solicitors completion statement ? copy of land registry entry ?

i dont think barcodes are needed for sheffield--but you could if you can.

send 2 lots of copies--one for each application---plus the originals ( bank staements, wage slips ) and yes--package them together--in the order of the sponsorship form.

on childs front page put mothers application number also, yes you will get consecutive appointments

Yep two appointments. And thus u need to have two appointment confirmations as well.

For ur question number 5, no need to put contact details in cover letter. U provide it when u register @ visa4uk for the online application. When u print ur online application form, u will see there is a contact details section where ur email and mobile numbers are written.

For the orignals that i want back, i provided a photocopy and put it next to the original doc. Is this right or it should separated from the original pack?
