Good evening from the Philippines! Im wondering how soon can i apply online and get an appointement at the VFS? Im just thinking that i might encounter problems while applying online and not be able to complete the application in one sitting.

Hi, as you work through the online application you can save the answers you have put you can also save and quit which allows you to revisit the application at any time. When you start the application on the right hand side you will see a series of black boxes with different sections in each block,as you complete all the answers that are mandatory and save it the box will turn green.

Take your time with it work through it and remember even though youve saved it you can still go back and alter the answers but then resave it remember green is good lol

Do i need to get an appointment at the VFS immediately after completing the online application? And the fees, do we need to pay before the application?

at the end of the application you will pay the NHS surcharge and the application fee,

from what I understand your husband is in the UK and he will present his documents to the scanning centre at Sheffield you will make an appointment in the Philippines to take in any supporting documents that you have like your birth certificates, passports tb certificates English test the majority of documents are provided by your sponsor. I have attached a link

Actually we were planning to have him send his documents here then i will bring it with me to vfs so that all our documents are together. But do u recommend that he send it to sheffield instead? Do u think its better? Which should go first, him sending his docs to sheffield or me going to vfs? Or doesnt matter? Thank you!

why send them half way across the world? potential for loss and delay! I havent used this service as it was introduced after we received my wifes first spouse visa.
Personally I would get him to do his bit in the UK then a couple of days later do your bit, I dont think it matters though as both will be married up with your application number.

Hello! So me and my husband are fighting over his employer name. Coz in his contract the employer name is the company's name and not the name of the restaurant where he is working. But he said we should put the name of the restaurant instead coz that's what appears on his payslips and P60. But for me we should put the company's name coz that is what is in his contract. What you guys think?

Ryef??? Ltd (holding company with other businesses)
T/A Hamb??????? Haulage (this was who I worked for)
