    I have booked with Oman Air for April to go to manila . It good value at £450 from London

    There 2 choices just 1 and half or 13 hours and it's at a brand new terminal at muscat.

    Oman-air is connected to etihad but cheaper and stops at muscat for 1 and half hours or 13 hours

    I was thinking of trying Oman Air too, as they fly from Manchester also. Short flight duration (about 18 hours) and lowest price at the moment. Well under 500 quid. Hmm.

    I heard they have more legroom.
    The flights are 8 hours to Oman and 8 hours Oman to manila.

    @Zeff @graham59 my ex actually flew that route to come here once and I don’t remember her complaining about anything.

    I am glad there is a stopover in the middle.

    Agree... especially if you're tall, and squashed into a seat. (Bad for your health too ?) That's why I like Etihad and Emirates, or Qatar. Time to stretch your legs, but overall journey not too long. :like:

    @Zeff I’ve always gone direct, but I find on the way out it leaves normally around 10pm I find I’m awake a few hours then fall asleep for a while so find it goes quite quickly, also I do take some sleeping tablets to help with that, on way back It jus seems to take forever, maybe because it leaving around 1pm and not used to sleeping that time of day.
