Mentally to me, when it comes to the aligned dance sequences, that's like a three dimensional representation or photo of a four dimensional event, or a higher dimensional view brought down into the dimensions we can feel and experience, wonderful and incredibly skilful (it is of course a four dimensional performance in space and time but alludes to a higher more complex world that we cannot directly experience). Never seen anything like it and I would love to see such a performance live. And I am fond of Steely Dan as well
And those Chinese dancers doing what looked like Thai dance to me were deaf too...….. You have probably seen these two also, Jim: Just the title track: (The whole LP/CD can easily be seen/heard on YouTube) and I hitch-hiked from North Wales to Liverpool to see them live in 1973. The concert was cancelled as they had quit touring in the middle of the tour! However, I got to see them in the USA in the early 2000's and that was an experience!
