Hi Everyone I understand there are restrictions as to what one may bring into the UK, specially fruits outside the EU soil. We all know veeery sweet yellow mangos (fresh) from Cebu Philippines are not abundant in the UK, so am planning to take at least 3 for the love of my life. Has anyone of you tried bringing them in without any trouble? Thanks Shang
When we come back to the UK we just buy lots of bags of dried mango from the supermarkets there, even though they are very sweet.
Hi there aposhark - thanks for responding. Yes I did that the last time also I post some before I went to the UK but i want to bring in the fresh ones haha
I brought back loads of dried mango. You can buy honey mango in the UK. But they are not cheap. We bought a box of 9 for £14, on saturday. Very nice though. http://www.british-filipino.com/index.php?threads/eu-ban-indian-mangoes.8898/page-2#post-79010
We bought yellow mango from Asda the other week. It was nice, ripe and sweet but it was Thai and a slightly different taste than Cebu mango, £2 each. I always try to bring a bag of Cebu dried mango back

My Mum-in-law just brought us some last Sunday when she arrived from holiday in the Philippines. It was oooh sooo good! She wrapped it with loads of paper.
My mouth is watering, to be honest! I already finished all the mangoes all by myself. Hubby didn't bother cause he knows it's for the baby!
Cheap at the moment as they are in season..380 Peso for 10 Kilo`s. Might make some more wine before prices go up!
Yep they weren't the usual mangoes where they have many in the cardboard box. They were individually trayed and wrapped in a protective cover as they were softer than the usual green mangoes. Not sure if they were labelled as their "extra special" range
Got in a kilo mango and chicharon and Customs approached me if I have cigarettes? Derrr. Anyway all good and arrived in Heathrow Terminal 2
