No shortage of work here for you now, from what I'm reading.

Benefits will give you a temporary crutch til you've sorted out some work (maybe work with lodge too).

Get your finances back on track and have enough to help out your loved ones...then off to the Phils when you're ready. See if you can get a credit card or loan from someone in UK.
If you can show the FCO that you don't have funds available, then I believe they will loan you money to get you back to UK if you press hard enough.
