Any builders here... Just been flooded and thinking about raising the height of our CR and Hallway to keep the water out. My, non-builder, brain tells me to drill some holes in the existing concrete flooring, put in some rebar, lay down some hollow block and fill in and top off with concrete/sahara (waterproofing) mix... simple Anyone with experience in this field that might tell me why this is not a good idea?
