Pochettino has been sacked by Totnum..

After all what he achieved in the years in charge he also hit the great wall of ungratefulness...

I am of the opinion that Jose pulled the strings somehow... he has been hanging around like a bad smell.

What's he won? Yes he has improved their standing but he has been a nearly man!
Will they bring in Jose, be a bad fit IMO but who knows?
In the garden till summer then see what's about.

Should have given him until the end of the season, IMO.

Bookies have Mourinho at 3-1 on. And considering spurs sacked Poches back room staff also then I would think he is a good bet to be installed in next couple days.

Yes... but I personally dont see it as a good fit, Rafa might be a better deal

I think it’s a terrible fit. Levy won’t give mourinho the kind of budget he would want. Benitez for sure he is top quality with low budget and can get best out of mediocre players

Somehow I must agree with the Benitez idea.

Jose is only interested in the severance pay...

Besides, Benitez would take the job on with Totnum in 14th place and look forward to take them up... Because he is like that, progressive.

14th is way beneath the level required for Jose terminal arrogance...

Spuds would be mad to appoint Jose.

From Day 1 at MUFC, he was surly and negative. Even in the season when they finished 2nd, it was mediocre. They were simply sightly less abysmal than 18 other teams. It wasn't a strong runners up position that you saw from Liverpool last season or Arsenal/MUFC when they traded titles 10-15 years ago.

I think Spuds' situation has been a bit like Real Madrid's problem in recent years. They have a core group of players who have delivered great success (top 4 and UCL final is massive for Spuds) but they have not refreshed the team enough. Eriksen, Dele, Dier, Vertonghen and Alderweireld have finished their usefulness to Spuds.

Wouldn't bother with Rafa as a replacement either. Neither would I go for Allegri. Multiply Serie An titles with Juve is nothing spectacular.

They've got to go for Eddie Howe. They gave Pochettino a chance when he was recruited from Southampton and it worked out for them. Howe would be a similar appointment. That fella deserves a chance at a bigger club, though it would mean Bournemouth will be in League One in a few years.

Yes, he was an expert at (parking the bus), even at Old Trafford.

So moaninio has been appointed. He’s never at a club for the long haul so let’s see how long before he throws his toys out the pram to get sacked or leave.

Totally the wrong decision in my view.

I sincerely hope it backfires on him, like every other time.

Jose without a £200 million war chest.....?

Silva and Brands at Everton must be close to that £ and we are not exactly pushing for the title
Klopp had a very rough patch but came out of it.

Not many clubs give managers years to get it right.

You can give him all the money in the world, some, probably as cleverly disguised commission, will be diverted to himself, and any players he buys with the rest will end up being the usual flops because he cannot manage their egos on the field.

    He has previous..

Maybe this long rest has given him perspective?

Leopards and spots come to mind.............

There are more chances for a cabbage to jump up and bite you in the bum, than Jose changing tack.........
