    hi guys,
Just a query..I managed to secure employment with Waitrose working the nightshift and I plan to make my visa application around March/ April time to accrue the 6 months payslips..As I understand it I may be eligible to their annual bonus which will be around 6 % and im wondering whether I can use this one-off bonus as part of income to meet the financial requirement..As i understand it could be as much as 3 weeks worth of pay and might even take help me meet the financial requirement without needing to combine it with my cash savings if I dont meet the requirement.

    thanks

the main problem if having to combine savings if your a bit short on the salary target---is the £16,000 threshold that is ignored. for example---suppose your annual salary is £1000 short of the £18,600 required....then you need 2.5 times that missing £1000 in savings.....but...PLUS the £16,000 threshold

so--savings of £18,500 needed to compensate for the £1000 shortfall.

    aint fair--is it ?

thats a nice problem to have--lol. but seriously--it does mean you can combine with salary if you think salary requirement is a bit short.
