My wife attended the seminar yesterday, and was given the certificate in her Married name, yet her passport is in her maiden name.... Is this going to be a problem when we come to get the sticker?
You don't need to worry . Same as mine . My passport is my maiden name but they asked if I will use my married name , before I said YES I asked them first if it's there's no problem because I still used my maiden name in my passport . But they confidently said NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT ..
How long.does it take from attending the cfo to getting the sticker? Is it like a 100 pass rate ? Are we safe to book flights?
After you attend, you get a Certificate at the end, this Certificate is presented at the airport to get the Sticker in your passport. If you already have a VISA, you get the sticker at the end of the seminar.
Yes it's not a test, just attend and you will get, but you have to book online, only 15 places per day in Manila
It is a counseling seminar and we have rarely seen anyone denied a stamp or certificate. If she has the visa, she can get the visa at the same day.
That's great to hear I just heard someone once say don't book your flight till you get the sticker and others have to go back days later.
Hi @a8amg! May i ask how long is the seminar? And also, am i right that this seminar is only for the spouse/fiancé? And your dependent is not required to undergo this?
Hi @Kareena Fortu Miñon the Seminar is from 9:00am to 12:00 noon, it is only for the Spouse who is leaving the philippines... take your dependents passport with you, but they do not need to attend. They will need and get a sticker later
We submitted our online application last night, and made an appointment at VFS Global for Tuesday.. But i could not see an option to select Premium service, there was Priority service, Primetime service and Premium Lounge... We selected Premium Lounge.... How do I get the Premium Service? can I do it online somewhere?
@a8amg please Kindly give us updates on your visa application. I am on family visit visa at the moment, and desperately need to get a spouse visa ,to be able to to do that I will have to go back to the pHil which complicates more as i have 2 young children in tow. I wonder if the premium service is reliable as I would not want to risk leaving the UK and will get stuck in the Phil while my kids are here.
