This is a very good large Asian supermarket they cater for most regions of the far east including the Philippines you can get Datu Puti vinegar amongst other things.

Google has the wrong map location the correct URI for this business is

    Chung Wah Supermarket

this page also has the correct map location.

The exact google maps link is http://goo.gl/maps/hHd6 but even on this page they have the address wrong and it is out by around 200 metres. This is a street view link so scroll out to get the map.

    Salamat ho :)

I like this place, when Ana was here in January through to the end of March we went here several times, they do Lumpia wrap, good Lumpia wrap :) although it was me that ended up cooking the Lumpia :D (and Ana loved it, my recipe was more Chinese Spring Roll though than traditional Filipino :D)

You can get Tilapia and Bangus at reasonable price and Ana liked their frozen Tiger Shrimp although that kind of thing can be found in lots of places these days.

There were lots of good things, by no means everything that you would find in a Sari Sari store or a good market but a good few of the things you might miss from the Phils.

They are also not bad for Thai Jasmine rice however I usually get that in 10 kilo bags at Makro for about £12.50

When Ana is not here I usually revert to Basmati rice although Thai Jasmine is certainly better for Filipino dishes.
