With kindness not violence the "leader" of the ER rentamob studied for a PhD in civil disobedience at King's college between 2017-2019 if I remember correctly.
Look out at the sky tonight and see the stars. Remember how small our planet is, then think of the bigger picture.
Charley is flexing his wings also: I am not a royalist but bringing more attention to climate change is a "+1" Prince Charles: I understand climate activists' anger: https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-58847456
And yet they only cause harm to the public maybe the should glue themselves to the gates of Downing street or the Chinese Embsay.
That's not quite how it works, in my opinion, John. The publicity would be very small if they were to "glue themselves to the gates of Downing street or the Chinese Embsay".
And here's me thinking you were a royalist, Druk1 I could be wrong but he could be the king any day now?
Really? It would make headlines around the world let's face it they go after soft targets only because they are a bunch of middle aged middle class white privilege near do wells with nothing better to do. They do more harm in the battle on climate change than good and have only alienated the public to their cause.
Another royal wades in: Prince William - Saving Earth should come before space tourism: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-58903078 It is hardly surprising that he backs his father, but his voice is another that adds pressure.

I wonder if they misquoted him, using the word galaxy almost implies that he is certain there is other self aware life in other galaxies, for me I would have said 'could rid the universe of meaning'. It is quite possible that awareness at the level of any animal could still lend meaning to reality in this universe, we perhaps put ourselves on a pedestal by assuming it has to be life capable of self reflection, certainly loss of self aware creatures like us would degrade the meaning and purpose of the universe.
I remember you posted a picture of yourself as a very long haired young guy Mike I've posted this one of me before with the hair I do remember a guy coming up to me on the dance floor and tapping me on the shoulder he got a shock when I turned round That's a Jodrell Bank Observatory badge I'm wearing by the way edit: I suppose I looked like a climate change activist stereotype even back then before it was really public knowledge.
