EPL withdrawal fatigue here... Anyone watching or will be watching - is it on Channel 5 - free ? or what ?
I think were there is a 5 on the listing then it's on channel 5 htps://www.live-footballontv.com/fifa-club-world-cup-on-tv.html
2-0 win but Chelsea played in front of 50,000 empty seats. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c8rpxjgr8mjo
About that... I don't think that Chelsea spectator pulling power has waned off, I reckon it is more with lack of FIFA advertising and promotional support for the event in general which in my opinion was hastily organised as an indigenous pleb warmer upper for the forthcoming Football World Cup competition next year. Normal coming from the ministry of footballing incompetence
I don't really have much interest, may watch the occasional game such as the PSV game the other night but even then i only caught maybe 30 minutes of it, I have much more interest in the transfer window as Wolves need some serious incomings not to mention another half dozen or so that may be moved on, such as Guedes, Hwang, Silva, Doyle, Johnstone, Traore but of course it needs buyers before we can move them on.
I think I read that LA is 2000 miles from Atlanta where the game was played plus it was on a weekday afternoon, do the organisers not realise most people have to work ?, the scheduling seems pretty poor but there again i think DAZN https://www.dazn.com/en-GB/competition/Competition:dc4k1xh2984zbypbnunk7ncic paid many millions for the broadcasting rights so he who pays the piper calls the tune.
Good point for Al Hilal though VAR and the Ref tried their best to give a win to Real Madrid it was never a penalty, and then the Ref added extra time on to the extra time, as for the camera work (you guys are more knowlegable than me) the wide angle? makes it difficult to make out who the players are they all look similar, what are the cameramen doing wrong ?.
I don't think I watched any of the Champions League this year and I've not watched any of this CWC thing... they need to get rid whoever's running this FIFA thing - fans want quality not quantity.
More than 400,000 empty seats at Club World Cup so far: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c74z8v15g8eo
Chelsea having an "off day" https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c3en8pl22kyo Not suprising as Flamengo have been a good Brazilian team for many years.
I used to have a Flamengo shirt and a Fluminense shirt back in 1979 when I was in Brazil. Fantastic to be in a place with Brazilians when they watch the match. Quite an experience.
