Not sure if its worth a sub section but would say that there are a lot of offers out there which some may be interested in. E.g. "Love our seats" promotion with National Express currently see's tickets for £5.00 nationwide :- http://www.nationalexpress.com/waystosave/cheapcoachtickets.aspx Was hoping to use this next week but the works been stopped for a week due to the guys running it are skiing. Yet brought me onto another thing people may not be aware of that being the backpacking hostels in London where you can get accommodation for as little as £11.00. Not for everyone I know and I am normally at a Premier lodge but worth looking at if traveling down and getting a flight out of Heathrow next day. Then there is the competitions with sharing the locations and answers, these can be surprisingly good to make a few extra ££ if lucky enough to win. Having teams of people comping sharing info is much easier than one person working alone. People doing it full-time can do upto 100 competitions per day. Freebies is in a similar section where people flag up free stuff that is worth doing and telling people also which ones waste time. Just a few suggestions
Sounds like a really good idea Matt.. Perhaps a Freebies, Discounts and Promotions forum? Hmmm, I'll make it so.
I came up with the idea recently when i was on moneysupermarket.com searching for mobile phone deals and a few other things. Comping, freebies and offers are something the Mrs can do back in the Philippines as well. My wife April enters contests daily already while waiting for transcription jobs.
