Hi to all. I read my leave to remain(5 year route)letter again and I am totally confused of this statement:

"You have submitted an application for limited leave to remain as a partner route. I am writing to inform you that you have been granted a period of 30 months limited leave to remain under paragraph D-LTRP1.1 of Appendix FM to the Immigration Rules as we are satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph R-LTRP.1.1 (a), (b) and (c) of these rules. You may be eligible to apply for settlement after completing at least 5 years under this route.
    Future application:
You should apply for further leave in the prescribed manner prior to the expiry of your current leave. Please note you must continue to meet the requirements of the immigration rules, in culding the time of all future applications. if you mee the criteria set ou in the immkigration rukles, you will be given a further period of leave of 30 months.

Questions are do I need to complete 5 years under leave to remain visa before ILR ? Or the 5 year route also means the start of my leave to enter in the UK (I entered June 2016)? Thank you to whoever will reply. This really takes me a lot of headache to understand

Best of luck. Did you supply the Property Inspection Report this time as don’t think we need to but just to confirm. It will save me £90 if don’t need too.

    Merry Xmas

Congratulations! it is a very very long journey indeed. And in the 5 years, told my husband try not to change job and hold on to his job until I got my
    Ilr
Is great news that I don’t have to dig out £90 again the property inspection report.

How long your Mrs waited after her Ilr before applying for citizenship? I wish to apply citizenship immediately after Ilr as who knows the rules here change so often.

    Thank you
    Amanda

Ours ILRtook about 8 weeks but you need to allow a bit extra for the holiday period.
