I am still of the very strong opinion that this awful virus was purpose created and released by some expansionist nation that shall remain nameless.

I had no idea Nepal was a lot poorer than India.
I saw a lot of poverty in India and have always wanted to visit Nepal.
In fact my Grandad told me about Tiger Hill near Darjeeling because he went there as a young British soldier. He died quite a while ago.

I wonder in the fullness of time whether we will find out about any shenanigans in our lifetimes.

Interesting about your grandfather :like: yup, even Kathmandu is in a bit of a state still following the 2015 quake. Screenshot_20210428_103734.jpg Screenshot_20210428_103750.jpg

Not a hope in hell, no one on the planet has the ability to design, understand the effects of the design and engineer and manufacture such a virus, and then go on to create not just one but two second rate low efficacy vaccines to said virus.

It's nonsensical and defies Occam's Razor, in other words to explain the theory you have to keep inventing more and more complex explanations for the observed facts, there is nothing about the emergence of this virus in nature that is unexpected or surprising.

And again genomic analysis of the virus makes it clear that it wasn't engineered in any way whatsoever.

why not create a poll and see how many are of the same opinion--or otherwise ?

I think the poll option has gone away.

It will be very informative how this plays out in india. We shall see the results of no lockdown.. overcrowding..no vaccines. Will herd immunity result?

Currently India has a program to vaccinate all over 18 year olds, but there's a vaccine shortage, dire times for them.
