The standard for a vaccine as specified by the WHO was 6 months efficacy and better than 50% protection, this news today is great ands let's hope that people all get their second dose but the reality is that the real trial of effectiveness in the elderly is now beginning.

What I really hope is happening is that someone somewhere has a database on everyone who is vaccinated and that their outcomes are followed for the next 12 months at least.

“The Oxford vaccine will be rolled out from Jan 4 across the country under plans being drawn up by ministers, the Telegraph can reveal.

The Government is aiming for two million people to receive their first dose of either the Oxford vaccine or the Pfizer jab within a fortnight as part of a major ramping up of the inoculation programme.”

    Daily Telegraph.

Druk, the basic estimates are that 10 times as many people are infected compared to the numbers that are detected this is not news, in China that would imply 800,00o or more infections and yeah that is probably an underestimate but it is really obvious that they got it under control nationwide, immediately once they realised how deadly this virus was.

And yes that implies that 24 million Brits have probably been infected already, more that 33% of the population, whether that will help towards herd immunity is an open question.

Covid: 12-week vaccine gap defended by UK medical chiefs - BBC News

Well there you go we are all f u c k i n g experiments now to the government's incompetence and inability to plan an escape from a paper bag.

They will give us the vaccines in a way that was never tested.

Just f u c k e d up the entire new year, thanks Boris and all your frickin self centred incompetent cheapskate arsehole tory colleagues.

Expect this kind of third class treatment in every aspect of your lives from now on.

There is your first Brexit Benefit, nicely snuck out when no one would likely be looking, just one hour before the Brexit mess completes.
