My wife was chatting with her mother yesterday and her mom told her that Maramag population 100K+ currently has no cases of Covid, seems we need to learn something from those in the Philippines, while over there its slowly being overcome here in the UK it seems to be going from bad to worse, 57,000+ yesterday and rising.

I was once told that maƱanangals and wakwaks inhabited siquijor, doesn't make it factual.

We were very strict from the word go, army manning check-points, senors not allowed out of their houses, only one per house allowed to shop per household, No public transport, airports shut down.
And the no one allowed on the beach, and no one allowed to protest. I could go on. While this was going on I got Dengue fever 2x.

46 New cases in Dumaguete, Not really surprised today we went to pay wifes SSS (social security) and it was packed, bodies everywhere, people shoving trying to fill in address check and trace and get a ticket number.
I went home told her to get a trike back home. Only takes one with covid-19.

I just spoke to a nurse working in the PI and told her about the Duterte projected figure of 100 million people inoculated by 2023,she said more like 2030

If they don't intend to actually help fix the problem, then the last 10 months of lockdown was pointless and even 2023 is unrealistic does Duterte just want to continue the current measures, like school from home indefinitely?

If they really are going to take that long to vaccinate their people then all this last year of travel bans and ECQ and GCQ was for nothing.
